Student: PCC Faculty-Led Program Summer 2023

Each year, study abroad programs are offered by PCC faculty for PCC credit in locations around the world. These programs are short (2-6 weeks), take place during the summer, and change from year to year based on the faculty leaders involved. 

Summer 2023 Programs

• Early Shakespeare in London, England taught by Mark Easby
• Community and Public Health in Japan taught by Elona Casady
• Western Civilizations: Ancient to Medieval Europe in Italy taught by Charlie Presti
• Japanese Language in Japan taught by Yukari Birkett
• Bicycle Urbanism in Copenhagen, Denmark taught by Linda Stewart
• Peace and Conflict Studies in Japan taught by Doug Byrd

The application to apply for these programs will be available September/October. The deadline to apply for Summer 2023 programs is February 19, 2023.

Eligibility Requirements

• 18 years of age or older by program start date.
• Good academic and disciplinary standing.
• Prerequisites for the course(s) included in the program to which you are applying.
• Independence, self-reliance, and maturity necessary to obtain the benefits of studying abroad.
• Willingness and ability to embrace the challenges of studying abroad.
• Proof of Covid-19 vaccination.
