Program Description

Students will experience the furnishings, material culture, and art within the context of the built environment and examine how change and adoption of one style to another style over time demonstrates other important movements in history. Students will get to “feel” how a 14th century castle residence resonates and experience the passion of a British collector of antiquities who was active in the early 1800s.

This is a hybrid program, which means that students will study with the instructor on campus before departing as well as finishing coursework on campus after the program has returned.
